Janelle Monáe’s “Tightrope”
I am uber excited that people are going to get to hear this music and create for themselves the kinds of situations that it was intended to inspire. In my mind, I see subway riders listening to their playlists on the way home from a hard day of work, flipping through their USA today and coming across this list, then going home and downloading the song and having a better ride to work the next day then they have ever had.
